Generator Containers

Phoenix Engineering are manufacturers of bespoke generator containers and enclosures, weatherproof and soundproof to accommodate your generator and/or switchgear and ancillaries.

Following consultation with the customer over size and attenuation requirements, we take the project through each stage from design drawings, to manufacture and paint finishing. We can even arrange delivery of your finished unit if required.

Our custom built generator containers (up to 40ft hi-cube) are built entirely in-house with either flat or corrugated sides and infilled with acoustic quality mineral wool. An additional personnel side door is included. Louvers, attenuators, radiator fans and exhaust are determined in the initial design by the level of soundproofing and cooling required. The finished coat is also completed in-house and provides both superb gloss and excellent durability and can be supplied in BS 4800 or RAL.

Fuel Storage Tanks

Phoenix Engineering also manufactures bunded fuel storage tanks, compliant to PPG2 requirement and BS799 Part 5.

Fuel Tank

They are fitted with a fuel level gauge, bund socket and fuel fill cabinet. Bunded fuel tanks are available as standard sizes or can be custom built to take account of any size restraints and capacity requirements, including Siamese tanks, from 1000 to 45,000L capacity. In the case of multi tanks we can also fit a double fuel fill cabinet if preferred.

Fuel Polishing System

We are also now able to offer the option of a fuel polishing system with your fuel tank. Fitting a fuel conditioning system will keep your diesel fuel free from water and other contamination, which reduces wear and damage to your engine and avoids wasting fuel.
